Josef Manner & Comp AG specialises in the production of wafers, dragées and marshmallow candy and has remained largely family-owned since its foundation. Manner’s popular and well-known products are exported to more than 50 European and non-European countries.
Challenge
To provide Manner with comprehensive support in the organisation of promotional events, the creative design of promotions and support activities over a longer period of time.

Pink spectacle in Planica
Manner is a traditional supporter of the ski jumping caravan and has been the main sponsor of the ski jumping events in Planica for more than 15 years. With its legendary Neapolitan wafers and hostesses in the distinctive pink colour, the brand is a highly recognisable part of the spectacle in Planica. Every year, the company is present at the event with hostesses who treat the spectators by handing out Neapolitan wafers and chocolate fondue and keeping them in good spirits. In addition, the Manner photo booth is available for visitors to immortalise their visit to Planica. Over time, the pink hostesses have become an indispensable part of the ski jumping spectacle, and every year we take care of the seamless organisation of the promotion and communication of the event.

RELAXED ATMOSPHERE
Casali after-work party
Summer just isn’t complete without a hot Casali after-work party, which we organise every year for Manner and their business partners! Casali is the king of tropical flavours and experiences, which is why we conjured up a true tropical atmosphere on a floating island in the centre of Ljubljana – Makalonca. Lively Latin beats and refreshing rum-based summer cocktails created a relaxed atmosphere among the invitees, while delicious snacks further energised them. Casali was definitely the highlight of the summer!

Pedal your Pony in pink
At the traditional Red Bull Goni Pony (Pedal your Pony) retro cycling competition, Manner not only provided pink promotions, but also its own pink racing team! The cycling feat brought together two legends of Slovenian cycling – the Vršič Pass and the legendary Pony bicycle. The competition was also attended by the Ambassadors of the Manner Neapolitan wafers, ski jumpers Jernej Damjan and Martin Koch. We made special pink Pony bicycles for the two Manner Ambassadors and made sure they had the right retro outfit in Manner colours. By taking part in the competition, the company has shown that it knows no barriers and is always ready to take on new challenges to be the best.

Casali on the streets of Ljubljana
Passers-by on the streets of Ljubljana and visitors to the boats were surprised by the Casali girls who gladly distributed Casali rum-coconut balls, offering them – for a moment, at least – a sense of tropical atmosphere. Watch the video to find out more.
